DALLAS, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's volleyball team clinched a spot in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) tournament with its win over Misericordia, 3-1, on Wednesday night.
With the win, the Knights improved to 10-15, and 6-5 in MAC play.
Quinn Baily led all players with 14 kills in the victory. Vaughn McConnell and Anthony Devantier split the setting duties as McConnell had 17 and Devantier had 15.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1: Arcadia 25, Misericordia 22
The Knights got out to an early 7-3 lead, but the Cougars took the next three points to cut their deficit to 7-6. Misericordia went on a 6-3 run to take a 12-11 lead. The Knights then went on a 6-3 run of their own to retake the lead, 16-13. The Cougars got within one point, 22-21, but Arcadia took three of the final four points to win the opening set.
Set 2: Misericordia 25, Arcadia 19
Arcadia won five consecutive points to take an 8-3 lead, but the Cougars then won five consecutive points to tie the set at eight. That run was eventually extended to a 10-2 run, giving Misericordia a 13-10 advantage. The Knights got within two, 16-14, but the Cougars ended the set on a 9-5 run to tie the match at one.
Set 3: Arcadia 25, Misericordia 22
Arcadia went on an 8-2 run, giving them a 17-14 lead. Misericordia won the next three points to tie the set at 17. Arcadia closed the set on an 8-5 run to take a 2-1 lead in the match.
Set 4: Arcadia 25, Misericordia 23
The Knights took an early 7-3 lead. The Cougars trailed the entire set until they won four straight points, giving them a 17-16 advantage. Misericordia extended its lead to 23-20, but Arcadia won the final five points of the set to win the match.
