READING, Pa. - Taylor Gubler's 84th minute penalty kick goal lifted the Arcadia University women's soccer team to a 1-0 win at Penn State Berks in non-conference play on Wednesday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Gubler got on the board after drawing a foul in the box, converting the penalty kick for the game's lone score.
-The Knights missed a second goal by inches in the 90th minute when
Madison Toyama lined a shot off the crossbar.
-After getting outshot in the first half, Arcadia dominated the second 45, leading the shot count 11-1, and a 9-0 corner kick advantage in the second half.
-
Abby Fuchs stopped all five attempts in the first half to help the Knights keep the score level.
