GLENSIDE - Jalen Watkins' put-back with less than a second left on the clock lifted the Arcadia University men's basketball team to a 61-59 victory over Lycoming College in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play inside Alumni Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon. Watkins led the way with a game-high 32 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Lycoming started the game on a 17-6 run over the first eight minutes.
-The Knights finished the half outscoring the Warriors 22-14 to cut the deficit to three at 31-28 going into halftime.
-Lycoming was ahead 42-41 with 11:15 on the clock before Arcadia went on a 9-0 run to grab a 48-42 lead with 7:06 remaining.
-The Warriors hit two free throws to tie the score at 59 with 19 seconds left, before Watkins grabbed a rebound and in one motion put it back in before the buzzer went off.
