ASTON, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's ice hockey team used three third period goals to defeat Neumann, 4-2, on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Knights completed the weekend sweep over Neumann, improving their record to 8-7-2 overall and 4-6-2 in United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) play.
 
Berklee Hibbard and Abbi Komrofske both had two goals in the victory.
 
Sophia Szelag made 19 saves to earn her second victory of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Neumann scored two power play goals in the first period to take a 2-0 lead after the opening 20 minutes of play.
• Hibbard scored her first goal of the game with a shorthanded score in the second period to cut Arcadia's deficit to 2-1. Ariel Williamson assisted on the goal.
• The Knights exploded for three goals in five minutes in the final period to seal the victory. Abbi Komrofske scored the first two goals of the period, including one on the power play. Karahkwenhawe White assisted on the first goal and Komrofske's power play goal was unassisted. Hibbard added her second goal of the game 42 seconds later to give the Knights an insurance goal. Campbell Torrey had the assist on Hibbard's second goal.
