GLENSIDE - Madison Toyama's eighth minute tally was the difference as the Arcadia University women's soccer team moved closer to securing a spot in the 2023 Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Tournament with a 1-0 win over Lebanon Valley College at Jean Lenox West Field on Wednesday evening.

With the win, the Knights hold the No. 3 spot in the standings going into the final weekend with the tiebreaker over the only team that can catch them.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Toyama took a through ball from Angela Rosenberger and put the shot into the lower left corner to give Arcadia a lead it wouldn'y relinquish.

-The Knights were pinned in their own end for the first 15 minutes of the second half, but the back line held strong and was able to withstand the push.

-Abby Fuchs stopped two shots for Arcadia.
