GLENSIDE – The Arcadia University men's swim team beat Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) competition Messiah University 158-100 on Friday evening. The Knights are now 2-1 overall and in conference.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The 200-yd medley relay squad of
Matthew Drake,
Tyler Mui,
Daniel Ross, and
Shane Stauffer went their fastest time all season for a first-place finish (1:39.41).
- Drake touched the wall first in 200-yd individual medley with a time of 2:07.81. He also finished second 200-yd backstroke (2:02.33) behind Stauffer and in the 100-yd backstroke just .42 seconds behind the reigning conference champ in this event.
- Mui swam a season best 100-yd breaststroke time of 1:00.61 which is the second best time in the conference so far this season. He also finished second in the 200-yd individual medley (2:08.28).

Owen Foley touched the wall first in the 200-yd butterfly with a season best time of 2:05.38. He dropped two seconds from his time at Misericordia.
- Stauffer won the 50-yd freestyle (21.93) and the 200-yd backstroke (2:01.89).

George Wade earned the Knights nine points in the 200-yd breaststroke event with the conference's third best time this season (2:17.78).

Braeden Wolf earned himself a pair of second place finishes in the 200-yd freestyle (1:53.94) and the 500-yd freestyle (5:10.11).
