GLENSIDE - A 41-22 second half helped end a four-game skid, lifting the Arcadia University men's basketball team to a 70-61 non-conference victory over the University of Scranton inside Alumni Gymnasium on Sunday afternoon.
Dominic Vazquez set a new single-game record for assists with 12.
FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights improved to 6-4 while Scranton fell to 1-9.
HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
-The scoring started slow as the game was tied at four five and a half minutes in.
-Arcadia led 13-11 with 10:34 on the clock, but a 16-8 run gave Scranton a 37-21 advantage with 2:50 left until halftime.
-The Knights trailed 39-29 at the break.
-Arcadia began the second half on a 21-10 run, taking a 50-49 lead with 12:15 left in the game.
-The Knights never trailed the rest of the way, pushing their lead as high as 11.
