CHESTER, Pa. - Hanna Rhoades continued her scorching play to start the season, setting a new career-high with 31 points to lead the Arcadia University women's basketball team to a 66-58 victory over Widener University in non-conference play on Saturday afternoon. The Knights improved to 6-0 with the victory, the best start in program history dating back to the 1994-95 season.

Arcadia moved to 6-0 with the win while Widener suffered its first defeat, falling to 7-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights jumped out to an 8-3 lead on four points apiece from Rhoades and
Katie Rodriguez.
-Arcadia led by nine with under two minutes left to play in the first, holding an 18-13 lead after the first 10 minutes.
-The Pride started the second quarter on an 11-6 run, cutting the lead to 26-24 with 5:20 left until halftime.
-The Knights finished the half strong, holding a 36-28 advantage at the break.
-Arcadia held a 44-31 lead after a three-pointer from Rhoades with 7:32 on the clock, but Widener finished the quarter on an 18-3 run as the Knights faced a 49-47 deficit going into the final ten minutes.
-Arcadia began the final quarter on a 9-0 run, taking a 56-49 lead with 6:21 remaining.
-The Knights went six-of-eight from the free throw line to seal the victory.
