AMBLER - A nine-run fifth in game one and a six-run first and four-run fifth in game two helped the Arcadia University baseball team sweep its Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) doubleheader with Lycoming College on Sunday, taking game one 13-5 and game two 12-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: ARCADIA 13, LYCOMING 5
-Arcadia got two runs in the bottom of the first on an RBI groundout from
Anthony Bruno scoring
Alex Madera and
Emilio Pallante scoring on a wild pitch.
-Lycoming trimmed the lead to 3-1 in the fourth.

Griffin Murphy added to the lead with a double in the fourth scoring
Justin Massielo.
-The Warriors took the lead in the top of the fifth with four runs.
-The Knights stormed ahead in the bottom of the fifth, scoring nine runs on six hits with two-run hits from Murphy,
Matt Donchez, and Bruno.

Hunter Sibley earned the win in relief, allowing one run in 1.2 innings with no walks and four strikeouts.

-Arcadia busted out of the gate in game two with six runs, the biggest a three-run homer off the bat of
Hunter Curley.
-After the Warriors scored in the fourth, Bruno brought home Pallante with a sacrifice fly in the fourth.

Michael Bukowski, Madera, and Bruno all drove home runs in a four-run fifth for the Knights.
-Massielo finished the scoring in the sixth with a double scoring
Gregory Hamrick.

Zach Steiger earned the win, allowing one unearend run on one hit with three walks and eight strikeouts.
