Women's Tennis Takes Down DeSales

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's tennis team beat DeSales 7-2 in Wednesday afternoon's match.
 
All six single matches got the job done to secure the win for the Knights.
 
SINGLES RESULTS
  • At No. 1 singles, Savannah Falk beat her opponent 7-5, 6-3.
  • At No. 2 singles, Karolina Iordache battled to a 6-4, 6-2 win.
  • At No. 3 singles, Kate Wyszkowski won her first set 6-4, dropped the second set 2-6, but faught hard and won the tie breaker set 6-2.
  • At No. 4 singles, Gertride Jeack beat her opponent 3-6, 7-6(7-1), 6-2.
  • At No. 5 singles, Link Bertrand lost their first set 1-6, then won the last two sets 7-5, 6-2.
  • At No. 6 singles, Keely Ochs won 7-5, 6-4.  
 
DOUBLES RESULTS
  • At No. 1 doubles, Wyszkowski/Iordache fell 5-8.
  • At No. 2 doubles, Leah Hatcher / Bridgit Terry, dropped their match 3-8.
  • At No. 3 doubles, Jeack / Emma Chobert beat their opponents 8-6.
 
UP NEXT
The Knights return to action on Thursday, April 13th when they host Immaculata University for a 3:00pm match.
