DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team topped Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) foe, Delaware Valley, 19-9, on Wednesday afternoon.
With the win, Arcadia improved to 3-3 in conference play and 6-9 overall.
Ashley Starkey led the way for the Knights, scoring a career-high eight goals. She added an assist for nine points, also a career high.
Olivia Poley had a career-high five points in the victory, scoring two goals and adding three assists.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Starkey scored the game's opening goal, but the Aggies tied the game at one a few minutes later. The Knights then scored four consecutive goals to take a 5-1 lead. Delaware Valley scored three goals to cut the Knights lead to 5-4 at the end of the first quarter.
- Arcadia outscored the Aggies, 10-0 in the second quarter to give them a 15-4 lead at the end of the first half. Starkey scored six goals in the frame.
- The Knights extended their run to 12-0 as they scored the first two goals of the third quarter. Arcadia held a 19-6 lead at the end of three quarters of play, and closed out their 19-9 victory in the fourth quarter.
