GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team scored 20 goals for the first time this season as it took down DeSales, 20-11, in its regular season finale at Jean Lenox West Field on Saturday afternoon.
With the win, the Knights clinched a spot in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Tournament for the first time since 2018.
Arcadia closes out the regular season with a 5-3 record in MAC Freedom play, and an 8-9 record overall.
Ashley Starkey celebrated her senior day by scoring a game-high seven goals. She has scored 21 goals in her last three games and reached the 50-goal plateau for the first time in her career.
Morganne Dee added five goals and three assists for eight points and
Olivia Poley had three goals and three assists for six points in the Knights' win.
Emily Griffith made six saves as she picked up her eighth win in goal for Arcadia.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Knights jumped out to a 7-3 lead after the first quarter through two separate 3-0 runs in the frame.
- Arcadia extended its lead to five after 30 minutes of play as it led 13-8 after the second quarter.
- The Knights continued to grow its lead in the second half as it outscored the Bulldogs, 3-2 in the third quarter and 4-1 in the final frame to seal its 20-11 victory.
