SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's volleyball team fell to Salisbury in three sets on Friday evening at the Swarthmore Quad Match.
The Knights fell to 1-1 on the year with the loss.
Estefania Martinez-Sola and Alysa Denison both tallied seven kills to lead the Knights attack.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1: Salisbury 25, Arcadia 16:
The Knights held an early 7-3 lead, but Salisbury rattled off eight consecutive points to take an 11-7 advantage. Arcadia got within three at the midway point of the frame, but the Seagulls went on a 7-1 run en route to taking the opening set.
Set 2: Salisbury 25, Arcadia 19:
With the set tied at five, Salisbury won six straight points, giving it an 11-5 lead. The Knights got within three in the frame, but the Seagulls pulled away and took a 2-0 lead in the match.
Set 3: Salisbury 25, Arcadia 18:
The Seagulls had a four-point lead at 13-9, but Arcadia took four straight points to tie the set. Salisbury went on to retake the lead at 19-14 through a 6-1 run and went on to close out the set to win the match.
