GLENSIDE - Katie Rodriguez notched a triple double with 15 points, 22 rebounds, and 10 assists to help lead the Arcadia University women's basketball team to a 69-62 victory over Stevens Institute of Technology in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play inside Alumni Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.
Rodriguez's triple-double is just the second in program history after Chrissy Taylor '12 on December 5, 2011.  Rodriguez's 22 rebounds are the second highest single-game total in program history, while her 10 assists ties for the third-highest total.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia improved to 12-1 overall and 2-1 in MAC Freedom play.
-Stevens fell to 6-8 and 1-2 in league games.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights jumped out to a 7-0 lead with a three-pointer from
Scarlett Glasser-Nehls and two layups from
Delaney Bell.
-Stevens tied the score at seven, but a 7-1 run put Arcadia back in front 14-8 with four minutes left in the initial quarter.
-The Knights led 23-12 after the first 10 minutes.
-The Ducks cut the lead to eight at 30-22, but an 11-0 run put Arcadia ahead 41-22, with the Knights holding a 41-25 lead heading into halftime.
-Arcadia held a double-digit lead throughout the third quarter, leading 53-39 as the game transitioned into the final quarter.
-Stevens got the lead down to six twice, but the Knights held strong to secure the victory.

NOTES
-Rodriguez notched her first triple-double.
-Rodriguez had the sixth 20 rebounds game in program history, with two by Addy Crenny '16, two by Taylor '12, and one by Valerie DiMuro '16.
-Rodriguez secured the fourth double-digit assist game in program history, joining Dominique Hassinger '16, Taylor, and Olivia Roseman.
-The Knights shot over 60 percent in the first and fourth quarters, and below 45 percent in the second and third.
