GLENSIDE - Nas Johnson finished with 19 points and
Jalen Watkins added 17 points and 15 rebounds to help the Arcadia University men's basketball team defeat Delaware Valley University 71-62 in Middle Atlantic Conferene Freedom (MAC Freedom) play inside Alumni Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia improved to 9-6 overall and 2-2 in MAC Freedom games.
-Delaware Valley fell to 7-8 and 1-3.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Arcadia trailed 12-6 almost five minutes into the game, but a 33-10 run saw the Knights hold a 17 point lead at 39-22 with 2:50 left until halftime as Arcadia lead 44-32 going into the break.
-The Knights led 56-34 six minutes into the second half, but a 22-7 push by the Aggies cut the lead to seven with 5:32 remaining.
- Arcadia went six-for-eight from the free throw line down the stretch to secure the win.
