CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's basketball team opened Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play with a 69-50 defeat at DeSales on Wednesday evening.
FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights fell to 7-5 overall and 0-1 in MAC Freedom play.
-DeSales improved to 10-2 and 1-0, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Arcadia held an early 10-5 lead, but a 10-0 run put the Bulldogs on top 15-10 with 11 minutes on the clock.
-A
Darius Isaac three-pointer trimmed the deficit to two, but DeSales used a 14-2 run to go ahead 29-16.
-Arcadia trailed 34-27 at the break.
-The Knights cut the lead to seven with 8:29 remaining, but a late surge by the Bulldogs put the contest away.
