GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's swim team dropped their first dual meet of the season 113-132 against Middle Atlantic Conference opponent York College (Pa.).

HOW IT HAPPENED

Mikayla Scardino,
Ava Despeaux,
Olivia Hyde and
Brooke Boyd won the 200-yd medley relay to kick off the meet with 11 points (1:56.81).
- Scardino finished first in the 100-yd freestyle (57.2) and also second in the 200-yd freestyle (2:10.00).
- Despeaux (2:27.11) touched the wall first in the 200-yd butterfly followed by her teammate
Kayleigh Kennedy in second (2:36.00).
- Arcadia earned first and second place in the 50-yd freestyle as well. Boyd finished first with a time of 26.04 and
Gigi Brown was .14 behind her (26.18).

Maggie Dent came in second with a time of 2:32.34 in the 200-yd backstroke.
- Scarindo, Boyd,
Katherine Pastva and Brown finished off the meet with a first-place finish in the 200-yd freestyle relay (1:44.76).
