GLENSIDE - Morganne Dee notched two goals to reach 145 points as the Arcadia University field hockey team defeated Widener University 5-2 in non-conference play from Jean Lenox West Field on Thursday evening.
Dee broke the record of 143 set by Marilyn Beatty `13. Callie Falzon notched three points as a late addition to the starting lineup.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Falzone, after being added to the starting lineup minutes before the first whistle, got the Knights on the board in the second minute.
-
Charli Rissmiller doubled the lead in the fourth minute with an assist from Falzone.
-Dee gave Arcadia a 3-0 lead with a breakaway score in the seventh minute.
-Widener closed the gap to 3-2 with goals in the 14th and 34th minutes.
-Dee broke the career points record with a goal in the 52nd minute with an assist from Rissmiller.

MaKenna Fick registered her first career goal in the 58th minute on a penalty stroke.

Anna Doblovosky stopped eight shots for Knights.
