Women's Volleyball Drops Two in Tri-Match

SELINSGROVE, Pa. - The Arcadia University's women's volleyball team went 0-2 on the day in the Susquehanna tri-match.

The Knights are now 9-10 on the season. 

ARCADIA 1, MORAVIAN 3

HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1: ARCADIA 16, MORAVIAN 25

Arcadia fell behind early in the beginning of the set. The Knights were able to accumulate four straight points, but Moravian was able to take the first set. 

Set 2: ARCADIA 25, MORAVIAN 10

The beginning of the second set was a back and forth contest. The Knights dominated this set when they went on consecutive runs holding Moravian to 10 total points. 

Set 3: ARCADIA 19, MORAVIAN 25

Arcadia started off strong going on a 3-0 run to start this set. This set was locked at seven until the Greyhounds went on a run. Arcadia went on a 8-3 run towards the end of this set, but it was not enough. 

Set 4: ARCADIA 17, MORAVIAN 25

The Knights fell behind early in this set. They were able to go on a 5-1 run nearing the end, but Moravian was able to pull away.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1: ARCADIA 20, SUSQUEHANNA 25

The Knights fell behind in the first set, but was able to lock the score at nine. Arcadia was able to get within on in the middle of the set. Susquehanna was able to take the first set. 

Set 2: ARCADIA 19, SUSQUEHANNA 25

The beginning of the set was a back and forth contest. The Knights stayed within four for the rest of the set. 

Set 3: ARCADIA 14, SUSQUEHANNA 25

The Knights were able to stay within two in the beginning of the set. The River Hawks were able to take a big lead and remained in control for the rest of the set.
