GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's swim team earned their first win of the season against Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) opponent Messiah University on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The 200-yd medley relay of
Adam Smith,
George Wade,
Owen Foley, and
Thomas Tubinas had a second-place finish with a time of 1:45.16.

Braeden Wolf recorded a time of 10:59.39 in the 1000-yd freestyle for a second- place finish.

Matthew Drake finished first in the 50-yd freestyle (22.36) and in the 100-yd freestyle (49.17). He cut .73 from his previous 100 free time.

Tyler Mui (2:06.76) and Wade (2:07.32) took first and second in the 200-yd individual medley.
- Wade also earned the team nine points in the 200-yd breaststroke with a time of 2:17.73.

Jordan Green has dropped .93 from his first 50-yd freestyle time of the season with a time of 24.27 in today's meet.
- The Knights took first, second and third in the 200-yd butterfly with Foley (2:09.22),
George Mitev (2:11.97), and
AJ Benowitz (2:12.08). Foley dropped almost two seconds, Mitev cut over four seconds, and Benowitz shed almost six seconds from their previous times.
- First-year
Michael Sanchez earned his first collegiate win in the 200-yd backstroke with a time of 2:13.81.
- Arcadia closed out the dual meet with a win in the 200-yd freestyle relay which included Drake, Mui, Wolf, and
Roman Diakun (1:33.48).
