LANCASTER, Pa. - The Arcadia University's women's volleyball team went 2-0 in the Lancaster Bible College tri-match.

ARCADIA 3, PSU BRANDYWINE 0

HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1: ARCADIA 25, PSU BRANDYWINE 18

The Knights got ahead early in this set, scoring the first three points of the match. The Nittany lions were able to respond and tie the set at five. Arcadia went on a 12-3 run making the score 16-8. PSU Brandywine was able to pull themselves back in the set but not in time for the Knights to take the first set.

Set 2: ARCADIA 25, PSU BRANDYWINE  15

The Knights fell behind four points to begin the second set. Arcadia responded and was able to take the lead at nine. The Knights went on a 8-1 run pulling ahead five points. Arcadia was able to score the last four to take the second set. 

Set 3: ARCADIA 25, PSU BRANDYWINE  16

The Knights started off again with four quick points to take the lead of the third set. PSU was able to go on a run and take the lead at six. Arcadia was able to pull ahead and remained ahead for the rest of the set.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1: ARCADIA 12, LANCASTER BIBLE 25

The Knights fell behind early in the first set. Arcadia was able to go on a short run nearing the first set. The chargers were able to secure the first set. 

Set 2: ARCADIA 25, LANCASTER BIBLE 20

The second set was a highly contested set. Both teams went on continuous runs of tying and taking the lead. The Knights were able to go on a run in the middle of the set and pull away. Arcadia was able to take the second set. 

Set 3: ARCADIA 25, LANCASTER BIBLE 19

The third set was another highly contested set. Arcadia was able to go on a 10-2 run to get ahead. Lancaster Bible tried to fight their way back into it, but ultimately the Knights kept the lead and took the third set.

Set 4: ARCADIA 21, LANCASTER BIBLE 25

Arcadia was able to take the lead early in the fourth set. The Chargers were able to respond and regain the lead. The Knights went on runs, but Lancaster Bible was able to take the fourth set. 

Set 5: ARCADIA 14, LANCASTER BIBLE 16

The Knights fell behind to begin the fifth set. Arcadia was able to battle back and take the lead at six. The Chargers battled back and took the lead. Arcadia did not go down without a fight as they went on a run and took a 11-9 lead. Lancaster Bible was able to battle back and took the 3-2 win.
