SCRANTON, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's basketball team fell by a 78-71 final in non-conference play at the University of Scranton on Monday afternoon.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia fell to 3-6 on the season.
-Scranton improved to 4-4.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-
Jamison Lynam got the scoring started with a layup 35 seconds into the game.
-After Scranton tied the score,
Joshua Okocha and
Amyr Walker hit back-to-back layups to give the Knights a 6-2 lead with almost four minutes gone.
-With the score tied at 15, a
Chris Williams three-points and
Jordan Taylor layup gave Arcadia a 20-15 advantage with under 11 minutes left until halftime.
-The Knights held a 26-25 lead with 5:40 on the clock but a 14-0 run to end the half gave the Royals a 39-26 lead going into the break.
-Scranton began the second half on a 4-0 run, leading 43-26.
-Facing a 67-54 deficit with 6:42 on the clock, a 10-0 run got Arcadia to within three points at 67-64 with 4:28 left in the game.Â
-The Knights were unable to complete the comeback as the Royals went five-for-six from the free throw line to end the contest.
