Women's Basketball Ties Season Conference Wins Record

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - Four starters finished in double-figures to lead the Arcadia University women's basketball team to a 68-59 win at Delaware Valley University in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play on Saturday afternoon.

The win is the Knights' ninth victory in conference play this year, tying the program record set in 2018-19 with a 9-7 record.

FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia improved to 20-3 overall and 9-3 in MAC Freedom play.

-Delaware Valley fell to 16-7 and 6-5, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights began the game on a 6-0 run with three-pointers from Scarlett Glasser-Nehls and Delaney Bell.

-Arcadia held a 23-17 lead after the first quarter.

-After a Katie Rodriguez layup to open the second pushed the Knights lead to eight, a 7-0 run sunk Arcadia's advantage to one at 25-24 with eight minutes until halftime.

-The Knights entered the break on a 14-2 run, holding a 39-26 lead.

-Arcadia pushed its lead to 20 by the end of the third, 60-40.
