GLENSIDE - Tied at 51 with 12:15 on the clock, the Arcadia University men's basketball team finished the contest with a 27-12 push to defeat FDU-Florham 78-63 in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play inside Alumni Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.
With the victory, the Knights have secured the No. 3 seed in the upcoming MAC Freedom Tournament, and will travel to face No. 2 seed Stevens in the MAC Freedom Semifinals on Wednesday 2/21 at a time to be determined.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia improved to 16-8 overall and 9-4 in conference play.
-FDU-Florham fell to 4-20 and 1-12, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-FDU-Florham began the game on a 10-3 run through the first four minutes.
-The Knights trailed for the majority of the first half but entered the break tied at 36.
-Arcadia maintained slim leads until the aforementioned 12:15 mark, where a 12-0 run put the Knights ahead for good.
