GLENSIDE – The Arcadia University men's and women's swim program is set to take part in the 2024 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships on Thursday, February 15
th through Sunday, February 18
th.
The championships meet will be held at the Graham Aquatic Center in York, Pa and will consist of eight sessions, four prelims and four finals.
The men's team is 3-2 in conference in the 2023-24 season and 6-2 overall. Arcadia took second at the 2023 MAC Championships, and was voted fourth in this season's Pre-Championship Coaches' Poll.
Dylan Alexander is currently second in the MAC in the mile freestyle, and both 200-yd and 400-yd freestyle and medley relay squads have the fourth best time in the conference.
The women are 3-2 in conference in the 2023-24 season and 6-3 overall. Arcadia took fourth at the 2023 MAC Championships and was also voted fourth in the 2024 Pre-Championship Coaches' Poll. Senior
Julia Stephens has the top time in the MAC in the 100-yd and 200-yd freestyle events as well as the 50-yd and 100-yd backstrokes.
Grace Brooks is sitting at second in the conference in the 200-yd backstroke after winning gold in this event last season. Arcadia's 200-yd and 400-yd freestyle and 400-yd medley relays each currently top the conference.
Fans must pre-purchase tickets
online in advance and provide the barcode upon entry. No tickets will be sold at the venue. Session tickets are available for $10 (adults) and $6 (students) while supplies last. A student ID will be required to be shown for student tickets. There is no re-entry.
