ST. DAVIS, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team earns its first win of the 2024 season with a 14-3 win over non-conference opponent Eastern University on Saturday afternoon.
 
This is head coach Adrienne Carr's first win as the leader of the Knights.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Eastern struck first with a goal by Morgan Wallace, but less than a minute later Sarah Morris answered with a goal of her own to tie things up 1-1. 

- Eastern scored another goal in the first quarter, before the Knights scored three unanswered goals by Morris, Olivia Poley, and Gianna DiNofa to end the first. 

- Arcadia scored the only three goals in the second quarter including another from DiNofa and Morris, as well as one from Tessa O'Donnell. 

- Juliane Calalo led off the third quarter scoring which then was followed by four more unanswered Knight goals. 

- O'Donnell and Calalo put up the final two goals for Arcadia in the fourth before Eastern added one more to their score in the last four minutes of the match-up.
