COLMAR, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's ice hockey team captured a share of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Title as it defeated King's 4-1, on Wednesday at Hatfield Ice Arena. In only its third season of existence, the championship is the Knights' first in program history.
The Knights are now 13-7 on the year. They finished the MAC slate with a 7-1 record, tying Alvernia for the conference crown. Arcadia defeated the Golden Wolves 3-0 in the teams' first meeting and fell 1-0 in the next meeting.
Four different goal scorers found the back of the net for the Knights as
Ariel Williamson,
Karahkwenhawe White,
Abbi Komrofske and
Morganne Dee all found themselves on the scoresheet in the win. Komrofske and White also added assists to lead the team with two points.
Hannah Bergeron picked up her eighth win of the season in goal for Arcadia, making 20 saves. Her eight wins are a new career high.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Williamson got the Knights on the board with six minutes left in the first period.
- White extended Arcadia's lead in the second period with a power play goal. Komrofske gave the Knights a 3-0 lead with another power play tally late in the second period.
- King's cut its deficit to 3-1 with an early score in the third period, but Dee gave the Knights their three-goal lead back with a score with eight minutes left in the game.
