UNION, N.J. - Three multi-run innings and solid pitching helped the No. 24 Arcadia University baseball team to a 7-3 win in non-conference play over Kean University on Friday evening.
FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights improved to 4-1 on the season.
-The Cougars fell to 7-3.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Kean opened the scoring with two runs in the bottom of the first.
-The Knights took the lead with three runs in the top of the second on a throwing error by the Cougar pitcher scoring
Gabe Diaz, and RBI's from
Anthony Bruno and
Tommy Ajjan bringing home
Solomon Griffith and
Matt Donchez, respectively.

Justin Massielo launched a first pitch homer in the top of the sixth, followed later in the inning by a run-scoring single to center from Diaz plating
Emilio Pallante to make the lead 5-2.
-After Kean cut the lead to 5-3, Donchez and Bruno brought in runs in the top of the ninth to finish the scoring.

Jack Dovidio got the win in relief allowing one run over 2.2 innings with two strikeouts.

Cam Nebel earned his first save in 2.1 scoreless innings of relief, striking out four batters.
