Late Push Hurts Field Hockey in Opener

Box Score GALLOWAY, N.J. - Two fourth quarter goals against were the difference as the Arcadia University field hockey team fell by a 4-2 final at Stockton University in non-conference Friday evening to open the 2024 season.

Morganne Dee and Mackenzie Clark found the back of the cage for the Knights.

HOW IT HAPPENED

-Stockton opened the scoring in the 13th minute.

-Clark knotted the score in the 21st minute when Dee's centering pass found her for a tap in.

-The Osprey's retook the lead in the 23rd minute on a penalty stroke goal.

-Dee tied the count with an unassisted tally in the 34th minute.

-Stockton took the advantage for good in the 47th minute and added an insurance goal in the 50th minute.

-Anna Doblovosky stopped six shots for the Knights.
