Women's Volleyball Drops Two Matches at Stevenson Quad Match
STEVENSON, Md. – The Arcadia University women's volleyball team dropped two matches at the Stevenson Quad Match on Saturday. The Knights fell to both the host, Stevenson, and Gallaudet. In the match against Stevenson, Nicole Dallara led the Knights with 13 kills. Devon Young led Arcadia with 10 kills in the loss to Gallaudet.

HOW IT HAPPENED
 
Set 1: Stevenson 25, Arcadia 14:
The Knights stayed within three until the Mustangs 9-1 run that put them in the lead 19-9. Stevenson was able to collect three straight to secure the first set.
 
Set 2: Stevenson 25, Arcadia 23:
Arcadia was able to tally six straight for them to gain a 9-6 lead. This was a highly contested set in the middle of the frame where both teams bounced back and forth. The Mustangs were able to get the last point to grab the second set.
 
Set 3: Steveson 25, Arcadia 23:
The Knights were able to gain the lead in the third set but couldn't quite hold onto it. Stevenson was able to gather five in a row where they gained the lead. Arcadia came within two at the end, but the Mustangs were able to take the last point.

HOW IT HAPPENED
 
Set 1: Gallaudet 11, Arcadia 25:
The Knights dominated the first set by starting off on a 11-4 run. Arcadia were able to control the rest of the set, holding the Bison to only 11 points.
 
Set 2: Gallaudet 25, Arcadia 19:
A back and forth opening to the set ended as the Bison took seven consecutive points giving them an 11-5 lead. The Knights got within three points of the lead, but Gallaudet was able to pull away and closed out the set.
 
Set 3: Gallaudet 25, Arcadia 17:
The third set was tightly contested until the Bison went on an 8-2 run that put their lead at 14-8. The Knights were able to gather a few more points to make the score of this set 25-17.
 
Set 4: Gallaudet 25, Arcadia 8:
Gallaudet scored the first nine points and held the lead for the remainder of the set.
