COLMAR - A late goal was the difference as the Arcadia University women's ice hockey fell to Wilkes University by a 3-2 final in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) play at Hatfield Ice Arena on Friday afternoon.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia fell to 10-2-1 overall and 8-1-0 in conference play.
-Wilkes improved to 9-4-0 and 7-2-0, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Wilkes opened the scoring five minutes into the second.
-
Phoebe Roberts gave the Knights the lead with back-to-back goals, the last coming with about four minutes left in the second.
-The Colonels tied the score 30 seconds later.
-The final period was a back-and-forth tilt with Wilkes netting the game-winner with 3:41 left to play.
-Arcadia had a late power-play but was unable to get the equalizer.
