OCEAN BREEZE, NY. – The Arcadia University men's indoor track and field team competed in the Spartan Invitational on Friday afternoon.
The Knights had 10 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championship qualifying performances and broke five program records.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Redjee Nonez finished sixth in the 60m hurdles with a MAC qualifying and program record breaking time of 8.60
. He also qualified in the triple jump with a distance of 13.55m. This is currently the top triple jump score in the conference.

Brendan Blyth set a new program record in the 3000m with a time of 8:56.57 to qualify for MACs.
- The 4x200m relay group of
Masai Pines-Elliott,
Miles Daniels,
Bryan Carroll, and
Micah Bullock finished third and broke the school record by 2.55 seconds (1:32.07).
- Carroll, Nonez,
Ramses Valera, and
Wesley Castelli cut 3.62 seconds off of the previous program 4x400m relay record time with a time of 3:33.08.
- Castelli qualified for MACs and broke his own 400m program record by .12 with a time of 52.56.
- Valera also qualified in the 400m with a time of 53.43.

Jey Brown met MAC qualifying standards in the long jump with a best jump of 6.75m.

Steven Warren qualified in long jump (6.08m) and triple jump (12.99m).
- Daniels earned himself two MAC qualifying performances in the 60m dash (7.17) and long jump (6.56m).
