CHESTER, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's swim team fell to Middle Atlantic Conference opponent Widener University 81-180 on Saturday morning.
The Knights recorded 10 season bests and two lifetime best times in today's meet.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The 200-yd medley relay of
Matthew Drake,
George Wade,
Owen Foley, and
Tyler Mui finished second with a time of 1:39.10.

George Mitev touched the wall first in the 1000-yd freestyle with a season best time of 10:39.76.

Adam Smith recorded a season best in the 1000 by shedding 23.75 seconds for a time of 10:53.07.
- Drake finished first in the 100-yd backstroke (54.34) and in the 200-yd backstroke (2:00.62).

Michael Sanchez earned a personal best 100-yd backstroke time of 1:01.15 as well as in the 200-yd backstroke (2:13.50).
- Wade swam a season best time in the 100-yd breaststroke (1:00.34) and in the 200-yd breaststroke (2:14.81). He finished in second place in both events.

Mikalai Yakhimchyk dropped .44 from his previous 100-yd breaststroke time for a new season best of 1:09.90.
- Foley recorded a season best 200-yd butterfly time of 2:04.89. He cut 7.71 seconds off of his previous best time this season. Foley also earned a season best in the 100-yd butterfly (56.07).

Braeden Wolf (5:08.73),
Johnny Pierce (5:33.72) and
Zachary Horner (5:50.36) each earned season best times in the 500-yd freestyle.
