DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - Hanna Rhoades became the eighth player in program history to reach 1,000 career points as the Arcadia University women's basketball team defeated Delaware Valley 73-61 in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play o Saturday afternoon.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia improved to 9-6 overall and 3-1 in conference play.
-Delaware Valley fell to 2-13 and 0-4, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights began the game on a 12-4 run, leading 14-9 at the end of the first.
-Delaware Valley tied the contest at 18 early in the second quarter as Arcadia was outscored 23-15 in the second, trailing 32-29 going into halftime.
-The Knights trailed 34-29 15 seconds into the third, but a 17-5 stretch put Arcadia back on top 46-39 halfway through the quarter.
-The Knights held a 50-46 lead after the third and held a 50-46 lead going into the final 10 minutes.
-Arcadia began the fourth quarter on a 10-4 stretch to take its biggest lead of the game to that point at 60-50 en route to the win.
