CHESTER, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's swim team fell to Middle Atlantic Conference opponent Widener University 98-162 on Saturday morning.
The Knights recorded four lifetime best and six season best times in today's meet.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The 200-yd medley relay squad of
Mikayla Scardino,
Katherine Pastva,
Olivia Hyde, and
Gigi Brown finished second to kick off the meet (1:57.77).

Brooke Boyd recorded a personal best time of 2:04.19 by 3.41 seconds to earn second place in the 200-yd freestyle.
- Scardino touched the wall first in the 100-yd backstroke (1:02.28) and the 100-yd freestyle (55.80).
- Hyde finished second in the 200-yd butterfly (2:18.77) and in the 100-yd butterfly (1:04.72). Her 200 fly time was a season best by .98.

Maddie Farrelly recorded a personal best 1000-yd freestyle time of 12:32.5, dropping 9.76 seconds off of her previous best. She also swam a season best time of 6:04.53 in the 500-yd freestyle.

Ava Despeaux swam a season best time in the 50-yd freestyle by cutting .27 off of her previous best (27.39).
- Brown earned the Knights nine points with her first-place lifetime best time of 25.66 in the 50-yd freestyle.

Kayleigh Kennedy swam a personal best 200-yd backstroke time of 2:27.12. She dropped 1.82 seconds from her previous best.
- Pastva touched the wall first in the 200-yd breaststroke (2:42.35) and finished second in the 200-yd individual medley (2:25.97). Both times were season bests along with her time of 2:06.55 in the 200-yd freestyle.

Emily Soliman earned a personal best 100-yd breaststroke time by 5.40 seconds (1:34.62).
- The 200-yd freestyle relay group of Brown, Boyd, Kennedy, and Scardino rounded out the meet with a first-place finish (1:44.46).
