GLENSIDE - A 47-33 second half helped the Arcadia University men's basketball team to an 83-67 win over DeSales in its Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) opener inside Alumni Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.

-Arcadia improved to 6-6 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
-DeSales fell to 6-6 and 0-1 in league play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights trailed 11-7 five minutes in before a 12-0 run put Arcadia ahead 19-11.
-Leading 32-21, the Knights allowed a 13-4 run to end the half, holding a 36-34 advantage heading into the break.
-Arcadia led 41-39 with two minutes gone in the second half before a 14-2 run put the Knights ahead 55-41 with 15 minutes left.
-Arcadia's lead never fell below eight points the rest of the way.
