Glab Breaks Program Record as Women's Ice Hockey Defeats Neumann

ASTON, Pa. – Arcadia University women's ice hockey first year, Ava Glab, broke the single game goal record with four goals as the team defeated Neumann University 11-1 in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) play on Saturday afternoon.

This is the biggest win margin in program history.

HOW IT HAPPENED

- Glab notched her first goal of the game two minutes in the start of play on a power play advantage.
- Three minutes later, Phoebe Roberts collected a goal of her own coming off a Kianna Saillant assist.
- Leah Hatcher tallied her first goal of the season coming in the seventh minute of play.
- Arcadia's first year, Megan Sladish, scored her first collegiate goal midway through the first period.
- Nearing the end of the first, Carys Jelley found the back of the net on a power play advantage making the score 5-0.
- With less than two minutes remaining in the first period, Neumann got on the board.
- Early in the second period, Glab generated a goal on another power play advantage.
- Neumann applied heavy pressure that Kylie Beers shut down with two blocked shots.
- Midway through the second period, Haylee Kos extended the Knights lead to 7-1.
- Eight seconds later, Glab found the back of the net to complete the hat trick.
- When the scoreboard read 2:26 in the second period, Rylie Duffy collected her first collegiate goal.
- 30 seconds into the third period, Glab tallied her fourth goal of the game, breaking the single game goal record in program history.
- Chloe Makinson scored her fifth goal of the season with six minutes remaining in the game.
- Ava Zoppo collected 12 saves.
