COLLEGVILLE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's indoor track and field team opened their season at the Bow Tie Invitational hosted by Ursinus.
The Knights had a total of 10 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championship qualifying performances and broke a three program records.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Grace Curnow broke the 3k record with a time of 10:39 where she also MAC qualified and AARTFC qualified.
- First-year,
Sadie Nugent, made a statement in her debut, breaking the 60m school record with a time of 7.81 and qualifying for MAC's and AARTFC.

Maren Weaver broke the 5k school record with a time of 18:37. She also qualified for MAC's and AARTFC.

Donya Baxter qualified in the shot put with a distance of 12.07m.
- With a time of 10.56 in the 60m,
Marissa Dougher qualified for MAC's.

Karissa Kujawa qualified for MAC's with a weight throw of 11.31m.

Tia Leister had a 5k time of 19:50 which qualified her for MAC's.
- In her collegiate debut,
Faith Perry, qualified for MAC's in the weight throw with the distance of 11.77m.

Seanna Robinson had two MAC qualifying performances in the weight throw (13.44m) and shot put (10.85m).

Olivia Schott qualified in the 60m hurdles with a time of 10.45.

Tia Leister finished fourth in the 3000m with a time of 11.52.04.

Jackie Engler had a personal best in the one mile race with a time of 5:53.64.

Julia Kronimus,
Jhane Owens, Emmy Brown-Varon,
Taylor Huczko, and
Amma Osei also made their collegiate debut today.
