GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team opened its season with a 9-6 win over non-conference opponent Gwynedd Mercy on Wednesday afternoon.
The Knights had six individual goal scorers on their game.

Thea O'Connor scored the first goal of the game with eight minutes remaining in the first quarter.
- Just one minute later,
Jaylee Killgore found the back of the net to give the Knights a 2-0 lead.

Jordyn Chan extended Arcadia's lead to three 45 seconds later.
- Gwynedd Mercy then put their first goal on the board with 27 seconds left in the first quarter.

Tessa O'Donnell opened the second quarter with a goal.

Mackenzie Clark notched her first goal of the season with an assist from
Olivia Poley.
- The Griffins collected another goal with seconds remaining in the quarter.
- A minute into the third quarter, Killgore collected her second goal of the night.
- Gwynedd Mercy scored three straight to close out the third quarter.
- The Knights outscored Gwynedd Mercy 3-1 in the fourth quarter with two more goals coming from O'Donnell and one from
Meghan Graham
