DALLAS, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team fell to Middle Atlantic Freedom (MAC Freedom) opponent Misericordia University 6-5 on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Morganne Dee scored the first goal of the game off of an assist from
Mackenzie Clark.
- Misericordia answered back with two goals of their own for a score of 2-1 after the first quarter.
- The Cougars extended their lead to 4-2 in the second quarter with the only Knights goal from
Emily Ruggiero, also assisted by Clark.
- The third quarter remained scoreless on both sides until Dee found the back of the net with just 2:51 left in the quarter.
- Again, Misericordia responded with two goals making the scored 6-3 heading into the final 15 minutes of play.
- Despite the Knights' defense held them to a scoreless fourth quarter and Arcadia goals from
Jaylee Killgore and
Mairead O'Connell, the Cougars held onto the one goal lead at the end of regulation.
