WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team defeated Middle Atlantic Freedom (MAC Freedom) opponent King's College (Pa.) 18-11 on Wednesday evening.
The Knights had four players score at least a hat trick, including
Mackenzie Clark,
Tessa O'Donnell,
Morganne Dee, and
Jaylee Killgore.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- O'Donnell kicked off the scoring less than two minutes into the game off of a free position shot.
- Just 14 seconds later, Clark found the back of the net to extend the Knights' lead to 2-0.
- King's responded with two goals of their own, before Killgore got her name on the board with a goal.
- Scoring went back and forth for the rest of the quarter to end with a 7-6, King's score after one.
- Killgore scored three of those goals for a first quarter hat trick.
- Dee tied the game up at seven with the first goal of the second quarter.
- The Monarchs scored once in the second before Arcadia went on a 4-0 run with goals from Dee,
Thea O'Connor, and Clark (2), making the score 11-8 Arcadia at the half.
- O'Donnell,
Gianna DiNofa and Dee (2) found the back of the net in the third quarter to outscore Kings 4-2.
- The first goal in the final 15 minutes of play was scored by O'Donnell, followed by a goal from Clark, and another O'Donnell goal to secure the 18-11 win.

Emily Griffith improved to 9-7 overall with two saves on the day.
