Stephens Nets Two as Women's Soccer Tops Farmingdale State

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - Abby Stephens found the back of the net twice to lift the Arcadia University women's soccer team to a 2-0 win at Farmingdale State in non-conference play on Sunday afternoon.

-Arcadia improved to 3-1-1.

-Farmingdale State fell to 2-4-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Stephens opened the scoring on a penalty kick in the ninth minute.

-Stephens doubled the lead in the 64th minute when Payton Lindsay hit her with a cross that sprung a breakaway, depositing the shot into the top right of the net.

-Abby Fuchs made five saves for the clean sheet.
