Women's Volleyball Sweeps Goucher College

GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University's women's volleyball team swept Goucher College (25-12, 25-16, 25-12) on Wednesday night in non-conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1: ARCADIA 25, GOUCHER 12

- Arcadia opened strong with a 7-0 run, highlighted by kills from Devon Young, Anna Keer, and Nina Corazo, plus a service ace from Bryana Saenz.

- Goucher responded with five straight points.

- Kelsi Warner added a service ace and a kill, extending the Knights' lead to 14-7.

- Arcadia stretched the lead to 20-11 with contributions from Young and Kylie Strange.

- The Knights closed out the set 25-12 on a Corazo kill from Alliy Kulas.

Set 2: ARCADIA 25, GOUCHER 16

- Corazo delivered multiple kills to keep the Knights ahead 4-2.

- Strange sparked momentum with a kill and three straight service aces, pushing Arcadia's lead to 17-8.

- Goucher fought back with a run, trimming the gap to 18-13.

Set 3: ARCADIA 25, GOUCHER12

- Arcadia opened strong with early kills from Young, Strange, and Julianna Lloyd taking a 5-1 lead.

- The Gophers briefly rallied with a kill and service ace to tie it at 5-5.

- Warner and Callie McGuire combined for a huge stretch, recording five straight kills, pushing the Knights ahead 14-6.

Hannah Sanchez made an immediate impact with a service ace, extending its lead to 20-8.

- Arcadia sealed the sweep 25-12.
