Defensive Miscues Cost Baseball in Opener at DeSales

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Four errors leading to three unearned runs cost the Arcadia University baseball team as it opened its Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) series with DeSales with a 4-1 loss on Thursday afternoon.

FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia fell to 15-7 overall and 8-2 in conference play.

-DeSales improved to 16-9 and 9-1, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-DeSales opened the scoring with a run in the bottom of the first.

-The Bulldogs added two more runs in the bottom of the second with the help of three Knights errors.

-Arcadia got on the board in the top of the sixth when Solomon Abdullah doubled down the right field line bringing home Kevin Wheeler.

-DeSales finished the scoring with an unearned run in the bottom of the sixth.
