AMBLER - Will Childs and
Chris Quick combined to go 6-for-9 with two doubles, three triples, five RBI's, and four runs scored as the Arcadia University baseball team defeated Cairn 14-4 in seven innings from Skip Wilson Field on Monday afternoon.

-Arcadia improved to 22-11.
-Cairn fell to 1-31.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Childs opened the scoring in the bottom of the first when he tripled down the right field line scoring
Simon Abdullah, and cam around to score when Quick singled to center later in the inning.
-
Will Buchan increased the lead to 3-0 in the bottom of the second when he scored on a dropped third strike.
-Childs tripled again later in the innings scoring
Solomon Abdullah.
-After Arcadia increased its lead to 7-0, Cairn scored two runs in the sixth and two in the seventh to close the gap.
The Knights scored seven times in the seventh to end the game.

Xavier Sjostedt earned the win with four scoreless innings, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out eight.
