Evan Bohner enters his sixth season on the Arcadia men's lacrosse staff in 2026, and his third as the Associate Head Coach.
Bohner helped lead the team to the MAC Freedom Championship tournament in all six of his seasons with the Knights.Â
During the 2022 Men's Lacrosse season, Bohner's defense was first in the MAC Freedom in goals against and had the highest save percentage in the conference. He also coached the 2022 MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the year, Timmy Fyock. With Bohner and Mita at the helm, the men's lacrosse team went 7-1 in conference play, the best record in program history.Â
Bohner joined the Knights following three seasons as the head boys' lacrosse coach at Cardinal O'Hara High School, where he guided the team to a PIAA District 12 Championship and State Tournament berth in 2019. He was then named the Catholic League Coach of the Year.
Prior to his time at Cardinal O'Hara, Bohner was the defensive coordinator for St. Joseph's Prep from 2014-2017 where he helped lead the program to a Catholic League title and a PIAA State Championship appearance in 2015. Bohner began his high school coaching career at Upper Merion Area High School. He served as the defensive coordinator for three seasons.
Bohner has also coached with the Duke's Lacrosse Club since 2012 and co-founded the Duke's Mainline Lacrosse Club in 2016. He was part of the Duke's Elite coaching staff that won four consecutive Champ Camp Club National Championships from 2012-15 and also led the 2016 team to a Naptown Club National Championship Game appearance.
Bohner earned his bachelor's degree in journalism from Temple University in 2015.
