Honors: 2017-18 - Second Team All-MAC 50 Freestyle... Second Team All-MAC 200 Freestyle Relay... Second Team All-MAC 400 Freestyle... 2016-17 - MAC Bronze Medalist in the in the 100 Butterfly (52.37), 50 Freestyle (21.51) and 100 Freestyle (46.93)… MAC Silver Medalist as a member of the program record-setting 200 Freestyle Relay (1:25.98), 400 Freestyle Relay (3:10.52) and 800 Freestyle Relay (6:56.24)… Bronze Medalist as a member of the program record-setting 400 Medley Relay (3:30.75).

2019-20: Turned in three top-ten finishes at the 2020 MAC Championships and qualified for two finals heats at the conference meet … Placed eighth in the 50-yd freestyle (21.77) and sixth in the 100-yd freestyle (47.88), while finishing tenth in the 100-yd fly (53.18) … Started the season with a first-place finish in the 200-yd butterfly in the season-opener at Hood … Followed that up with a pair of victories against Misericordia in the 50-yd and 100-yd freestyle … Won three events in the dual meet victory over Albright - including the 50-yd and 100-yd free and the 100-yd fly … Also won a pair of events in dual meets against Widener and Stevenson.

2017-18: Placed first in the 200 medley relay (1:43.87, claimed first in the 200 freestyle relay (1:31.22), touched the wall first in the 100 backstroke (57.44), and claimed the top spot in the 50 freestyle (22.26) at Hood (10/14)… Finished first in the 200 medley relay (1:41.83) and the 100 freestyle (49.94) against Wilkes (10/20)… Led the way in the 50 freestyle (22.61), the 100 backstroke (57.32), and the 100 freestyle (50.03) at Ramapo (10/21)… Captured first in the 200 freestyle relay (1:32.16) and finished second in the 50 freestyle (22.87) in a tri-meet against Misericordia and FDU – Florham (10/28)… Was part of the squad that set a new Lenox Pool record in the 400 freestyle (3:17.61), and finished first in the 100 backstroke (55.76), the 50 freestyle (22.21), and the 100 freestyle (49.19) against Albright (11/4)… Finished second in the 50 freestyle (22.05) and the 100 freestyle (48.47) at the Diamond City Invitational (11/18)… Was runner-up in the 50 freestyle (21.79) at the TCNJ Invitational (12/1)… Touched the wall first in the 50 freestyle (22.30) and the 100 freestyle (49.12) in a double dual sweep of Messiah and King’s (1/12)… Clocked first in the 100 backstroke (55.59), second in the 50 freestyle (21.95) and third in the 100 freestyle (49.96) in the program’s first ever win over Widener (1/20)… Added third place points in both the 50 freestyle (22.23) and the 100 freestyle (48.34) at Division I La Salle (1/26)… Bested his own record in the 50 freestyle (21.43) to claim third in the “A” Final on day two of the MAC Championships (2/16)… Finished 10^th overall in the 100 backstroke (54.77) on day three of the MAC Championships (2/17)… Finished fifth in the 100 freestyle (47.39) on the last day of the MAC Championships (2/18).

2016-17: MAC Bronze Medalist in the 100 Butterfly (52.37), 50 Freestyle (21.51) and 100 Freestyle (46.93)… Times in the 50 and 100 Free are program records… MAC Silver Medalist as a member of the program record-setting 200 Freestyle Relay (1:25.98), 400 Freestyle Relay (3:10.52) and 800 Freestyle Relay (6:56.24)… Bronze Medalist as a member of the program record-setting 400 Medley Relay (3:30.75)… Scored in three individual events and four relays at the ECAC Winter Championships as Arcadia placed 6th of 11 overall and was first among Division III teams… Also scored in three individual events and four relays as Arcadia won the Diamond City Invitational.

High School: 2016 graduate of Teaneck High School, where he was coached by Matt Green… Served as team captain and was the team’s High Point Award recipient as a senior… Finished his career ranked second in career points, and was a member of the school record 200 freestyle, 400 freestyle and 200 medley relay teams… Also a member of the Bergen County record setting 200 freestyle relay… Earned First-Team All-League, All-County and All-North Jersey honors.
 
Personal: Son of Yi-Fan Hu and David Highet… Has one brother, Jason.
