Shannon May enters her fourth season with the women's basketball program in 2025-26 as an assistant coach.
Prior to joining the Knights, May played for current Arcadia head coach Jackie Hartzell at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Pa. During her career at USciences, the Devils were 110-16 overall and 68-7 in conference play. May went to the tournament each year of her career including a trip to the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2017-18.
In the final season of the USciences program, May led her team to a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) championship where she was named to the 2022 CACC All-Tournament Team. She is a two-time member of the CACC All-Academic Team, a two-time Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award winner, and was named to the Dean’s List nine times.
May graduated from Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster, Pa. where she won two PIAA state championships, a Philadelphia Catholic League championship, and was named All-Catholic and All-State.
She received her Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) degree from Saint Joseph’s University in 2023.
