Arcadia University Athletics

Adam Planamento '12  enters his fourth full year as Arcadia's Director of Athletic Communications in 2025-26 after being named to the position in January 2022.

Planamento returned to Arcadia after spending seven years at Wilkes University, including the last five as the University's first-ever full-time Assistant Sports Information Director.

Planamento graduated from Arcadia in 2012 with a degree in history, and earned his Master's from Wilkes in 2020. Planamento was a four-year member of the Knights baseball team, and served as an Assistant Coach for three years after graduating. Planamento also spent four years as an official scorer with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders, the AAA-affiliate of the New York Yankees.
