Box Score North Myrtle Beach, SC (March 11, 2013) - The Arcadia University Knights (2-2) went to 1-1 at the NCSI with a 12-0 five inning win over Principia College. Arcadia scored multiple runs in the first four innings, including five in the second to open up the big lead and never looked back. Jessica Wood threw a complete game four hitter for the Knights, striking out eight batters.

The Knights opened up the scoring in the first on an sac fly by Brandee Zablotsky and an RBI single by Wood, helping her own cause. Then in the second the duo struck again as Zablotsky had an RBI single and Wood hit a two run single. Leanda Helms then scored on a passed ball and Wood scored on a wild pitch to make the score 7-0.

In the third, the Knights scored a pair as Zablotsky hit an RBI double and Jessica Shotwell scored when Wood was hit by a pitch. Zablotsky and Wood finished off the scoring in the fourth as Zablotsky hit a two run double and Wood hit an RBI single to make the final 12-0.

Zablotsky was 3-5 with a run scored and five RBI. Wood was 3-3 with a run scored and four RBI, while Corrin Showalter was 3-3 with three runs scored. Shotwell was 3-4 with four runs scored in the win.

Arcadia will return to action tomorrow at 2:3pm when they face Principia once again.
